Hi Folks, very random question but are you allowed to take Cameras into the ground?
Thing is I'd love to take some pics, however due to the size of the camera it's not one you can hide!
Can't see anything on the Wigan Web Site so thought I'd best ask!

Dan'" Yes no probs. Took my Fujifilm S1700 in when we played Cas at home last week. If anybody wants to see pics of that match they are up in the Asda Photo Centre! |

Only place i have had problems with taking a camera is Saints not had a problem at any other ground.

You're not mean't to be able to take photo's inside the ground due to superleague copyright but most places do not bother as they realise the majority of people will not be making any money form it. At the Galpharm you can't take photo's if the camera has a detachable lense otherwise it fine..... Anyone with a detachable lens will know why this is the case !

Depends on the type of camera, I suspect you may be prevented shooting by stewards if you're camera looks too much like a press grade one, such as an SLR with telephoto lens. I have never tried so am far from an authority on the matter and YMMV.

It's a joke really, what harm are you doing taking pics? Everyone else is on cameraphones!
