Sam was released after the friendly at Leigh, he's been playing at Wigan RU while he tries to get a contract with another club

I wonder if Rogues or any of the regular reserves watchers can shed any light on why they let him go. I only saw him a couple times (reserve GF and the friendly at Leigh) but he looked a fair prospect to me. |

He must be 22 now and even with Mickey Mac out injured he is a long way away from the first team. With the reserves changing to under 20's with just one senior player allowed per game he is surplus to requirements.
Harsh but thats the way the sport goes. Hopefully he will find a club and earn a decent living from RL.
