Just seeing if anybody knows the whereabouts of the Wigan Riversiders flag.

I know some people have borrowed certain flags in the past for what ever reason, but for some reason this one hasn't been returned to the club/myself.

It has 'WIGAN RLFC' at the top, the club crest in the middle and 'RIVERSIDERS' at the bottom. It was funded a few years ago by people of this board as well as The Riversiders supporters group itself a few years ago so it would be appreciated if somebody could let me know if they have idea of it's whereabouts.

No, I've got a feeling it's been borrowed but not been given back.

Carol and John Byrne mentioned it was missing on Fri night.

Surely someone at the club knows who has borrowed it, or am i missing something?

Who owns the flag? Surely the club should have to cover the cost of a replacement if they have lent it out without the owners consent?

It's a pity cos it's a cracking flag.

The flag was made by a friend of mine who now hardly attends games. He collected money from people off this board as well as other supporters and from The Riversiders supporters group. I had a couple of flags made too and took them to away games. As my friend stopping going to as many fixtures I adopted the flag when it came to taking them to away games. All three are kept at the club where they were hung within the disabled sections and now on the gantry.

For some reason the Riversiders flag is now missing.

Have you asked the club?

It must be them who has lost it.

Yeah, they don't know and are helping to locate it.

To be fair, they enjoy using the flags too. Afterall, for the past couple of seasons they have kept hold of them and have displayed them for home games.
