Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

I make no apologies for repeating this point on here - a terrific talent Phelps, a major threat creatively from fullback and someone who IMO certainly could be our number 1 for many years.
A huge blow if he's out for a while, judging by Maguire's comments it doesn't look promising. Looks like Ainscough won't be spending much time at Widnes in the next few weeks. Or I wonder if Pryce will be given a run?

It is possible to have a broken ankle, or leg etc and continue to walk or run, especially if it's been done through playing sport, as you have all the endorphines and adrenaline pumping round your body, which can mask the pain to an extent.

Phelps really has started to show what he is capable of under Maguire. He was putting pin perfect kicks into the corners for the likes of Amos and Richards and also pulling off some great long passes when he chimed into the attacking line.
Hopefully Maguire can keep this improvement going with him. Afterall, Maguire was the guy who coached the likes of Slater....

The modern full-back position is also like a 3rd half-back. IIRC don't both Phelps and Webb have experience playing at stand-off?
