| This has happened for the last few years and worked really well reducing the number of people collecting at the ground.
If we failed to get to the final as per the challenge cup then no money would be taken.
Anyway at least Wigan managed to offload all there challenge cup final coaches and train to Warrington "fact"  |

If I were a Wigan fan I would want this posted on the wall of the Wigan ticket office with a note underneath asking why they were not showing similar enterprise. As it is I am a Saints fan who welcomes the opportunity of avoiding a morning off work, a 50 mile return journey and a long queue (or being surrounded by neutrals) IF Saints win.
If I recall correctly Leeds were the first Club to do this and surely it is an example that all Clubs should follow.

And in terms of numbers it worked out about right for Warrington

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good
