I have only ever been to one game where the minutes silence was not impeccably observed and that was at the JJB. When someone was shouting from the North stand cant remember the opposition but it was on sky but sky had turned down the outside mikes so nothing was heard on TV.

Wigan fans are always respectful of minutes silence at Saints.

The only time I ever saw a minutes' silence interrupted was at Wembley when Saints played Hull. A solitary Hull fan (I presume) started chanting 'come on you hull'. He soon got told, put it that way.

Absolutely disgusted. Saints fan comes on here asking if we will respect the minutes silence. What happens a group of idiotic kids in the Wigan end laughing, joking and messing with ring tones. Guess what shirts they had on SAINTS

To be honest, they've got a waiting list this year at the GPW for people waiting for their turn of the minutes silence.

It seems they have a minutes silence every game this season.

I believe that the sponge carrier from the 1950's used to take his next door neighbours dog to a vet whose ex-wives half-brother died the other week.

Although we shouldn't expect anything different, I thought the Wigan supporters observed the silence impeccably...Even the groups of younger supporters who to be honest, I was expecting a bit of messing about.
