Been reported on Talk Sport that Setanta have lost their rights to their package of Premier League football doesn't look to healthy for them

Dont they owe the Premier League almost £40m from this past year? They've got themselves into a right mess with this economic downturn. Shame really because I enjoy Setanta.

My worry with Sky taking over is that they'll go back to the old studio type coverage they had with Warren and Tollett. Whilst it was OK it wasn't a patch on the NRL coverage with Sterlo, Fatty, Gus, Wally and Joey. |

Sky would definetly bring back the studio - they do this for all Live Sports Coverage. Hopefully it won't be Tulsen Tollett - who btw I'm amazed to see played for Great Britain!

Setanta btw will continue to broadcast this weekend whilst they consider their options. I would not be surprised if the channel is pulled on Monday and they take administration which would be a p*sser with the Origin Match on Wednesday.

Setanta also lost its scottish football rights today so the channel is now a complete dead duck subscription wise now so expect death any day now.
ESPN have picked up the Premier League rights - can't see them going for the NRL.
