New feature on the site which I started last week to fill in the early part of the week void between weekend match report and midweek match preview.
Basically I look back at random games against the current week's opponent at the venue/old venue where the game is being played.
So this week I look back at matches against Salford played in Wigan which include games from 1925, 1960, 1980, 1993, 2001, 2005, 2006 & 2007.
Also I look back at this weekend in the past which recalls three great games from 1994, 2000 and 2003.

Thanks Bilko, a great addition to the site. I go back a long way as a Wigan supporter but despite that it is really hard to remember everything and it's good to be reminded of what happened, good and bad, during my time, and before.

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

I remember the game from 2001. With the score at 70 – 0 and seconds to go, we kicked the ball on the last tackle but it wasn’t directed to touch (or missed touch). Salford gathered the ball, broke down field and scored with the very last play of the match. 70 – 4 and I was tearing up my bet of a 68+ winning margin, gutted!

i remember this game me and my mate spent the whole game in the understand bar! no we watched the first 10 mins then gave up!!! lol
