| We are considering a short break to Lloret De Mar, same time as Wigan play Les Cats.
I have absolutely no idea how to get to Perpignan for the game, if its even feasible and what it may cost.
Anyone ?

| Scrap that, I just looked it up on Mayfairs website
A bit on the dear side for us.
We can do 5 nights in Lloret, Half board, for 3 of us for less than £500. Mayfair is 3 nights @ £329 each.
Its getting to the match thats the issue !

| Stayed in LLoret a few times for the Wire matches, we rent a car so transport to Perpignan isn't a problem. There is a good motorway network from around Gerona up to Perpignan which is about 80 miles so should take about 90 mins. Lloret has a big bus station so maybe there are connections to the trains or maybe get an organised bus pickup from the airport, Gerona I assume.

| There is a train service that serves the Costa Brava, you will have to get a Barcelona train for 3 or 4 stops, get off and change for the Mille/ Montpellier train.. kinda goin back on yourself but it is dead easy quick and comfortable, i cant remember the station names but if you google the information you will find a train network map and youll see where you need to change... So much better and easier than Driving. Check it out

| Did it last year, it's an absolute hole in my opinion. I'd much rather book a hotel on the beach outside Perpignan.
Hopefully in April it'll be no where near as busy as peak.

| avoid lloret like the plague. it's a hole!
fly to girona and you can get the train stright to perpignan from girona city. girona itself is lovely and well worth a visit for a couple of days.
