It has no relevance to this topic whatsoever but still i cant believe the points made about Pat Richards. He was top try and points scorer this year broke records and got MOS.

He IS world class he is THE BEST player in SL as the STATISTICS NOT OPINIONS clearly show. Wire fans need to take the blinkers off and realise this.

Cracking player this Richards fellow, poor choice of teams but can't fault his effort

To be fair (not using it in this instance) but being a goal kicker does slightly skew the results when it comes to how effective is a person in attack with ball in hand and points scored.

For instance not many people would say El Masri was the most effective back going forward but he scored a hell of a lot of points mainly because he's a goal kicker

If Richards played in the NRL he'd be considered world class, however because he plays in SL he'll never get that accolade. Sums British RL fans attitudes up.

Hanley was world class even before he went to the tigers i think most people would agree with that, real 'rugby'fans will recognise class, i think some people are just turning the screw to get a rise (bit of banter)

It's tough to say because he's not going up against the very best every week, having said that I think he would be one of the best wingers in the NRL

This is the attitude i'm talking about, the NRL is a better league but it ain't a galaxy away from the level of the top of SL. I watched a lot of NRL games last year where I thought Wigan would have mullered both aussie teams I was watching.

Yeah but there are no sides like Harlequins and Crusaders who sides effectively get a bye against in the NRL. It's surely tougher to perform week in week out in that league.
