Tony Clubb: "This is a new exciting chapter of my life signing for Wigan and I couldn't be happier" 18/10/2013
Romain Navarrete: “I’m very happy to have signed for Wigan Warriors. As soon I knew that Wigan were interested, they were the only team that I wanted to sign for. To me, Wigan is the biggest Club in Rugby League and it will be an honour to pull on the famous Cherry-and-White jersey next year. I look forward to working with Shaun Wane and the players at Wigan.”:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_10172.jpg |

20333_1393344959.gif Current thoughts - Mago out or get running up them plantations, get fit or get rid.
Maybe a back up halfback, someone with a bit of experience on a short term deal.
Big tall strong running second rower, like a McMeekin or Sironen type back rower.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_20333.gif |

| Hope to god we haven't signed Luauki, I don't want people comparing him to Coley in regards to people moaning we have signed him, he is crapola!

| Keep Tommy at 9, he's proving to excellent as a hooker. If we do bring in another 9 it has to be to replace McM, not Tommy, McM is the weaker of the two.
Dont need anymore backrowers. I have faith in Hock and Faz tocover for the departing Hoffman.
A centre, if the right man is available, however Joel's progressing well and Charnley does have a future as a centre IMO.
Is Deacon 100% retiring? I'd like to see him doojng another year sharing the role with Mellor allowing Mellor to ease his way into the first team.

It's Shane Warne according to a certain Warrington poster.

And as well as he played at OT - How many other times did he 'turn-up' and take control of a big game for us at 7?

Agree completely, if we move Tommy back to 7 we may as well release him. The problem I have with Tommy as first/second receiver is he doesn't have a long range kicking game so we struggle if our forwards are not dominating the game and we have no real 'Plan B' other than bringing Sam into the halves.
Keep Tommy as our 9, he has been outstanding there this season, and bring in a new 6, a centre and a prop. If Rangi Chase and Kirk Yeaman were available for the right price then they would be excellent acquisitions (as mentioned by 100% Warrior)

Good. Injury prone and over-rated IMHO.
Also seen Vince Mellars mentioned for centre. To say I'm astounded is an understatement, he isn't good enough. Simple as that.
O'Hara on the other hand, fair game. Lincoln Withers an'all, he's alreet.

| Tommy is the best 9 at Wigan for sometime, as a halfback, and I will include 6's in this he is well down on the pecking order of recent times, i.e. behind the likes of
Deacon
Finch
Sam
Trent
Dobson
Keep him at 9.
Where do we really need to recruit, in the centres? I was be very hesitant unless the recruited player was ideal, if not then stick, we have Joel and Acton up and coming, plus we have Charnley who I would love to see given an opportunity in the centres.
Backrow-We're looking good. Even with the departing Hoffman we have Hock looking to impress along with Faz etc.
Props-For me there's still a question mark over Fielden, Davies and O'Carroll, Cross is off and Coley is set to retire which leaves:
Prescott, Mossop, Lima.
This is an issue, but again who is available to sign? I'd like an experienced prop, someone to add leadership considering we are losing Coley.
Another HB? potentially or another FB considering Sam is excellent at both 6 and 1, personally I like him better at 1.
Does anyone know which props and HB's both in the UK and NRL which are free next season? (When's Dobsons contract up)
Personally if the right 9 was available I would be interested to replace McM.

Quite a good summary of the ins/out/re-signings/OOCs from each NRL club. Not too many options for what we need really I dont think.
Presuming Deacs and Coley reite then a 6 and a prop is what we need imo.

Been sacked by 4 different clubs by age 22, pretty impressive.
