He is getting better and better soon as the pitches dry up i think we will start to see his footwork.

Well let's be honest someone had to give Wire an assist, because non if their halves are capable if throwing a good ball.
Add to that Ormesby was about 2m offside, but the red had to make a game of it as well, so it's fair play.

He'd probably got fed up of watching Myler, O'Brien or Ratchford trying to provide an assist.
He had his best game tonight aside from that. Much more involved, solid in defence and dealing with kicks and some clever touches. He'll continue to improve.

| With this exponential rate of improvement by the time the playoffs come around he'll be the best player in the world!
I'm really pleased for him that he's showing us some form. In his first three games he wasn't just poor which I could easily forgive, but he just didn't look interested. However he was slightly better at Cas then his improvement last week and then this is really astonishing. He looks very safe under the high ball and a real threat. His counter attacking plays from the back look risky but will catch a lot of teams out when the grounds get firmer.
Credit where credit is due - well done Matty - keep it up.

| Defensively he was good, in regards to catching bombs and the way he tracked behind the defensive line when Warrington were attaching our try line, much better than Tomkins in that respect. I think the more he plays to better he will get for sure. I'm team Bowen.

| He mentioned in an interview his family has only just come over. Perhaps he is happier and more settled and showing it on the field.

Great try, however lets not ignore the fact he cost us six points fumbling under the high ball though.......

| Thought he took the high ball, and it was a very high ball, but got hit in impact causing him to lose the ball. Good play from all involved in my opinion for that try.

He didn't fumble it. He list it in the tackle on the ground having been hit hard. Might have even had it punched out and it was very wet ball.

The opposition players were yards offside and not picked up by the officials should have been a penalty for Wigan.

Will have to check the replay. This is the BBC's take on it anywayThe Australian, however, was to blame for letting Escare add to the French side's advantage after the break, spilling a Pryce kick. '"
