We need to recruit a specialist full back and a centre. Now anyone can sit here and tell me how brilliant Sam is at FB, but my honest opinion is that he is far more effective and lethal in his natural position at half back. He changes games when he reverts to that position. A fully fit, firing on all cylinders Amos Roberts should be at FB IMO. He was devastating last season prior to his injury.
As for centre, Joel is not a centre and should be in the second row where he is far more effective. He isn't a patch on Gleeson at centre IMO.
Please get over Amos Roberts as a top FB. Yes he had a purple patch where he was excellent, but the lack of form clearly out weighs the good.
I'd like the idea of Bowan as a FB in our team, but why do people cling on to Sam as a 6? His best games for us have been at FB, people say he's more affective when he's up in the line, but a modern day FB is often up in the line, linking up off the halves! In a split halves team Sam is a FB.
His performances there are outstanding.
I fully expect a backlash from some posters but thats just my opinion.'" |

I would have liked a more experienced coaching assistant for Wane but i'll settle for that. I've backed Wane for the job from day one and in Sculthorpe we have a guy thats been there and done that in playing terms. If he's half as good a coach as he was a player we'll be onto a winner.
If the players want a couple of guys to look up to and to try and emulate they won't go far wrong looking at Radlinski and Sculthorpe.
