I'm pretty sure you were more than willing to comment on his activities in Walkabout on King Street, too.
So, back to the quesrtion, now he is at Wigan, he doesn't go out in Billinge and King Street?

Does it matter?
A simple yes or no will do.

Why is it a concern for Wire supporters now?
He signed for Wigan, get over it mate.
I await the 'good riddance' and 'didn't want him anyway'- type replies.

I will !
He was seen out round Billinge Last Night in the Billinge Arms!
He then went to Wigan and was seen Down King St!
He later went to Pemps (The Night club Not the T-Shirt Magnets house!)
Followed by a Trip to the Cow shed!
At 6am he was seen stumbling out of Santi Bag with a Vindaloo where he puked, fell unconcious and Sh3t himself!
However he was celebrating the fact that he's got away from Warrington so you can forgive him!
It is also a Known fact that ALL the Warrington fans who chose to ignore the rumours over the last 3/4 years have suddenly now become experts in these so called rumours and see them as FACTS and Wigan fans Vice/Versa!
In the End, just accpet that as it stands, Wigan have got the Better of the deal.
In the Long run, You may get it?
In the Long run we both may be better off!

I get it! Long time to get the common denominator. To be fair though, when it came to Gleeson and Briers I think most with a modicum of nouse knew that they weren't exactly clean living athletes.
Alex, I have no concern for Gleeson, well I do actually I get annoyed when a player who is so good can't make sacrifices to be that little bit better. I just can't be doing with hypocrisy, see cadoo for reference.
PS
Good riddance, as in if he doesn't want to be here he is best being somewhere else. But you won't get my decrying his ability, best British centre knocking about bar none.

I know I didn't.
At least 10 of the 14 Super League clubs are thought to be affected including all the major sides such as Leeds, St Helens and Warrington, whose chief executive, Andy Gatcliffe, revealed that his club are already in discussions with both the Revenue and the Rugby Football League.
"We at Warrington Wolves took quite a lead on this, and we have been looking at the situation with the players, legal advisers and the tax people to find out how best to handle it," said Gatcliffe. "Several of the clubs including ourselves do have image rights agreements with players, and the Rugby Football League have been asked to co-ordinate on our behalf, just as the Rugby Football Union has been doing on behalf of their Premiership clubs. They are now working to come up with a solution that is Revenue approved. It's not very nice to have to do, but at least then we'll know where we stand for the future."

I've witnessed a ''Martin Gleeson'' moment and was absolutely p**sed off/gutted/annoyed. If somebody told me we would eventually signed him I would of flipped. However, since that day I can't say I've seen him out in Wigan or Walkabout since, and that was 2 years ago, so I think he has calmed down since then.
Yeah, maybe a bit of hypocrisy but if I thought/knew he was regulary still upto his old ways, then I'd be totally against the signing. I've seen/heard no believable evidence within the last two years to suggest he is up to his old ways, therefore I'm happy to have signed a player who I see and only hear about on the pitch.

| All this talk about what Gleeson gets up to off the field, his 'old ways' etc....when was the time of his 'old ways'...?
Was it 2004? 2005? At this time he was the best centre in Super League and was in the SL Dream Team.
Was it 2006, 2007? His stats for this period were impressive, check his assists, busts, breaks, offloads on the SL website against other centres in the league for a comparison.
There has always been rumours and innuendo about Gleeson and what he was like off the field, but he was a good player and unlike others at Wire he didnt get injured. The biggest disappointment with him when he played for us was a nagging feeling that he had more to give, after his first season when he was outstanding, he looked a better playre in Tests.

Great Point, He is a very durable player and a Bit like Connolly in that respect!

| Ive seen Gleeson in a few messy states but again ive not seen him up Wigan for ages, i dont know whether hes got a new stomping ground or hes settled down. Ive always wanted to see Gleeson in a Wigan shirt, and i know hes always wanted to play for Wigan so nothing a few bitter Wire fans can say will take any polish off this signing.
