| I can't believe I'm saying this but I hope we get spanked in both games. Surely then the RFL will have to do something. They hired the wrong man in the 1st place and now he keeps going with these constant poor squad and team choices. He clearly has a preference for certain players (ie who are from Leeds) and by picking these who have mostly been tried time and time again it's clearly detrimental for the youngsters who deserve a shot. He's clearly still thinking of playing Sinfield, Peacock etc right up to the World Cup and beyond.
The whole England set up at the minute is a complete joke and IMO it's all because of the coach. The players are there, we've got our strongest/most exciting pool of outside backs for a long time together with a good mixture of experienced (not past it) and young forwards. We just don't have a coach who can put the right squads/teams together with both the present and the future in mind, and when they get on the pitch they look clueless. Only in RL could a man get sacked from a club and end up coach of the country.

| Maybe McNamara is thinking that when he inevitably gets sacked from the England job it will coincide with the inevitable sacking of McDermott at Leeds ... and then, well, who knows?
That's the only explanation I can think of for this love-affair he has with a team so low on ability and morale that they are not even in the top eight.

| He has selected his squad to suit his tactics.
That's if he has any tactics!
Heaven knows what his training sessions are like.
Six players from Leeds who are 9th and 6 from Wigan and Warrington who are first and second.
Am I surprised? Not at all!
Clueless doesn't come close!
Anderson is a far better coach and this could be another bad night for England.
As someone has said, if he loses these two games he has to go!
I think it was Kear on B n A last night who said if England can't beat the Exiles then they've no chance v the Aussies or Kiwis.
McNamara is just not good enough.

| Kevin Sinfield is never an International Stand Off. Jonny Lomax and Danny Brough should be in the halves and Goulding should definatley be at Right Centre instead of bloody Carl Ablett. McIlroum not being selected is a complete and utter joke too. McBanana should be sacked.

| He's claiming the Huddersfield boys are tired having played on Monday but Crabtree is selected? He justifies his selections with bull excuses. Ask any SL coach bar McDermott and they'd say Mickey Mac and Goulding should be in that squad and that Brough deserves the 7 shirt. Ablett is only rated by Leeds fans and the Sky bumboys

| I have forked out £75 for tickets and looking at that team; I feel short changed. Picking a second row at centre and a loose forward at stand off in an international side begs belief. I am hoping that its an injury that is keeping Brough out otherwise there are bad signs for the future.

| It's an horrendous team.
Goulding should be in that squad and playing centre instead of Ablett. Ablett should be playing SR with Hock.
Brough at SH and Chase at SO
Micky Mac should be in the squad and on the bench.
Mossop should be starting prop instead of Peacock.
McNamara has no clue.

| I've no real problems with the inclusion of guys like Ablett and Tickle as one they were selected in the squad there seems little option but to play them.
My issue is Sinfield! He's a player in rotten form who's failed time and again at the international level yet keeps getting selected. We're meant to be building to the world cup yet this guys included! We can't seriously be suggesting he'll be in the world cup squad? Guys like Lomax and Brough need a chance to show what they can do, by Christ Sinfield must have had enough chances by now!
Peacock deserves to play in those two games but should do the decent thing and move aside after this series. He's been a joy to watch in the England shirt, a true warrior but age has caught up with him and there's no shame in that. There is shame in holding back other players who deserve a crack though.
The game over here is getting fooled in to thinking anybody over the age of 34/35 can be the new Menzies! He's a one off and an exception to the rule.

| The only saving grace for McBanana is the Exiles team is nowhere near as strong as it could have been because with the team he's selected this could have turned into a pretty heavy defeat for England.

| the team should be something like
1. Sam Tomkins
2. Josh Charnley
3. Darrell Goulding
4. Ryan Atkins
5. Ryan Hall
6. Rangi Chase
7. Danny Brough
8. Lee Mossop
9. James Roby
10. Eorl Crabtree
11. Gareth Hock
12. Danny Tickle
13. Sean O'Loughlin
14. Mike McIllorum
15. Andy Lynch
16. Gareth Carvell
17. Jamie Jones Buchanan
how players like Jamie Peacock (past it, arent we supposed to be planning for a world cup?), Kevin Sinfield (why oh why does this clown of an international coach keep picking him?) and Carl Ablett (in the centres) have been picked is a joke.
How Leeds, who are meandering down in 9th place can have so many representitives in the squad is beyond a joke.
