This is a game I can't wait to watch on Wigan TV when they upload it with so many incidents to view. I've seen the replay of the Lockers tackle and it's not good. Red card well deserved and a probably 2-3 game ban. People need to remember this was the first red of his career since making his debut in 2002ish with this type of tackle being out of character.

As high tackles go it was pretty mild, at least in terms of recklessness. The force of the collision makes it look bad but if you actually look at the technique of the tackle he is attempting to wrap both arms around the attacker's chest, it's the step that does him and he's too committed to pull out. A bad outcome and no option but to give a red card but it wasn't intentional, malicious or even reckless, just accidental.

Was working last night so only just seen the incident, it's a pretty bad one and worthy of a couple of games.

With regards to the result I couldn't believe we won it at the death (still waiting to see the tries yet), but it is typical of this season...how many last minute wins is that now? Can't believe we are top of the league!!!

Any injuries to report? Something about Sam being injured, let's hope he's fine for next week.

We should be bolstered next week by Mossop, Crosby and FPN. That will give Leeds something to think about.

Quite a few Wigan Fans said it was reckless, I don't know where your wrap arms around the chest is coming from it was a swinging arm into the jaw area, unless you are referring to another incident in the game. Looks like a 3 game ban with an EGP.

Others say things like thugs, cowards, dirty players. Give him a break! He got what he deserved, and will be punished accordingly. But I don't think it was really intentional, more tired and clumsy.

Wasn't my opinion, all my mates are Wigan Fans it came from them.

He was trying to make a tackle, got done by a little step and made direct contact with the head and completely cleaned him out. Was it malicious, I'd be very confident to say no. Was it reckless, I suppose that depends on your definition of the word reckless.

I hope Annakin didnt suffer any serious injury and is back on the field soon. I stand by my original opinion, red card was the correct decision however I've seen worse not get carded, 3 match ban, probably reduced to 2 if he has an EGP available.

Got caught out by the step and threw a lazy arm. You can always tell when players deem something to be a "horror tackle" by the reaction, no players came running in, no pushing and shoving etc. Deserves a ban though, was clumsy.

Watch the replay. At the point of collision O'Loghlin has both arms around Annakin, which suggests he is attempting to affect a regular "ball and all" tackle. The arm that makes contact with Annakin never actually rises above O'Loghlin's own shoulder level, there's nothing particularly high about it, let alone "swinging". I can sit here all one eyed and say you're wrong if you're saying he tried to hurt him but I'm interested in your view. All I can say in Lockers defence is he's obviously got no previous for trying to hurt people intentionally. You don't go through a 14 year top flight career with no sending offs, suspensions or even yellow cards for foul play without being a pretty decent lad.

If he gets 3 or 4 games I won't have an issue but I'll defend there being any malicious intentions to hurt the guy until the cows come home.

He got a red.. The ref saw it for what it was.Intent,live with it and move on.
