It was always going to be a big ask for us today with half the squad out injured but credit to you guys, a very clinical performance. Decent turnout too, around 8-900 which is more than we see from most teams. Good luck for the remainder of the season, although I very much doubt you'll need it if you keep playing like that. Also sorry to hear about coaches been bricked after the game, absolutely disgraceful behaviour from the culprits invloved and I hope they are identified (although I wont hold my breath).

You Wigan fans sounded worried like we would have actually give you a game.

Too many injuries on our front and we always knew that once injuries to our first team stars came we would struggle to cope. Our academy has being crap for seasons (Cheers Hetheringtons and Agar) luckily Adam Pearson has sorted that out for us, but we have to wait a few seasons yet before our Youngsters will be at level of standard which is similar to Wigan, Leeds and Saints.

Don't know were you all were today though, an unusual poor following from Wigan today.

Infact, the very idea was sounded on here. It was quickly dropped at the though of what COULD welcome us.

You've no proof of that and I must have missed it when 10,000 FC fans started running at Wigan coaches with bricks. I dare even say the people who threw the bricks probably never even set foot in the ground.

On the pricing structure I was shocked to hear it was only a couple of quid more to get in at the North stand, I was under the impression on all the drama on here it was like an extra tenner. The last thing I think about when going to a game is how much it is to get in, I just estimate at around £20 but it wouldn't put me off if it was anymore. As long as I get to see my team play that is all that matters.

No complaints from me,we were outplayed,pure and simple.After resigning myself that we were going to get mullered,I was hoping it was going to be a learning curve for our young players.


As for the bricking incident I am sure the majority of Hull fans are just as sick of it as your fans are.

To open that stand it costs the same as the south stand, with no guarantee that the stand will even be a quarter full, it becomes more a case of keeping your losses to a minimum then actually making money. Considering the club itself makes no money on food or drink, which many think we do.

The home end will always be around 60 - 70% full so therefore the costs are easier to cover meaning the prices can be cheaper.

Its maybe not common practice in Rugby League but a lot of places will charge more for away fans.

Excellent all-round performance, great completion rate in very wet conditions (especially 2nd half) but still prepared to throw the ball around. OK, a badly weakened Hull team, admittedly, but we'd have beaten most teams playing like that.

McIlorum was superb, really organised and controlled the game as a good hooker should - and both halves profited from that, plus complete dominance by our forwards, especially Lima and Prescott, looking forward to seeing their stats when they come out...and Hansen deserves special mention too for all his work and some great hits. You make the most basic error of comparing it to the home stand in an economic perspective(although it is a political decision that will have kept people away as they felt unfairly treated, therefore a bad economics decision). That is not the issue at all. It's about maximising the revenue from away supporters.
