I don't think I've witnessed a more negative reation towards a teams kit.

Certainly the worst reaction since '97.

I'm going to buy it as it's a Wigan shirt, but what was the sizing like on Kooga? I can't remember and i'm at work so i can't check, and i want to order before they run out of stock..........

The washed-out cherry bits I don't have a problem with - nothing wrong with trying something a bit different every so often so long as it's followed up by something a bit more classic. Those white blotches though - WTF was someone thinking?!

Dan - sizing, I got a Medium last year I think, and it's like a tent on me, 5ft11 and 11st.

Can't imagine the main sponsor would be too happy with that, why on earth is the text for their logo and Kooga, just a small change such as making that text white would address the colour balance of the shirt.

Oh Dear! I didn't think it was that bad at first but seeing that picture from the site makes it look a lot worse. Far too pink!

If they wanted to break away from tradition the simpler the design the better imo....







Both better by far and really simple designs and only took 2 mins of research. Manly one would be cherry(red) and white as opposed to maroon. Kooga have been pathetic at designing shirts and they have always been a poor "fit" aswel. Decent training gear but poor kits, hope we don't renew their contract.

Dont the sponsor have a say in how their logo looks on the kit? I seem to remember Norweb not being happy with the 94-95 puma kit cos it had black bits around the logo. Wigan changed the black bits to red.

I just hope tomorrow the club says "Sorry guys, only joking. This is the real kit." I'm determined to like it but just can't. I know it's early days but, it's pink! It doesn't matter how many white flashes you put on to "accentuate the shoulders" it's not very intimidating if its fecking pink! Seemingly not putting the "Champions" badge on the sleeve looks a major c0ck up as well.

I'm staring at it hoping that the Wigan badge changes to a Saints one so that I feel better taking the pi$$ out of it

looks like its another season of the 2009 shirt for me unless the away shirt is significantly better than that. Saying that though, my 2009 shirt is starting to run a bit so will probably look exactly the same come mid season.

i think its rubbish im really disapointed with it i thought they might listen to the fans for a change and give us what we all want i really dont think it will grow on me either i dread to think of the away shirt now

Every year we get the same thread about people not liking the shirt, every year you all get one for Christmas/quietly buy one in February after getting used to it! They'll sell like hot cakes.

Just a quick change to it and I think it looks good. I also like the idea of maybe revisiting a past away classic. I do like the idea of a break with tradition for one year but I do think they've made a mistake with this design.

Exactly. In the past when new kits have come out, I've initially disliked them but quickly come round. I just really cannot see myself liking this one no matter how long it takes. It's actually really annoyed me as it seems as if the club are taking the pi$$ and releasing any old $hite in the knowledge that just because we're champions we'll buy anything with the badge on.

Certainly gives us something to moan about at the next fans forum anyway. I was worried there'd be nothing negative to talk about
