They are on here because they are anti-Wigan, pure and simple and, whilst I don't want to be telling Mods what to do, I thought this site was primarily here for those of us that actually support the club, secondarily for those from other clubs that wished to actually participate in the debate.
I find the attitude of " ah well, we won loads of titles years back, so let them come on here and laugh at our expense" lamentable. But, I suppose it's a free world. ATEOTD all I can do is leave the site permanently or continue sighing heavily as I wade through oceans of tripe looking for the occasional worthwhile post.'" Actually that one is a serious point.
On the Wire site we get plenty of Wigan posters who come on with a patronising 'poor little Wire' kind of attitude, and that does encourage people to then come on here in response when something goes against you.
Not my style, but it can't be ignored as a reason. |

It's not your style, neither is it mine. However, I am willing to bet that any Wigan posters causing mischief on your site are dealt with, rather than tolerated as on here.
Wolfette actually banned me a while ago when she got hold of the wrong end of the stick! Actually, she recently gave an example of how it should be done. She saw a thread on here that she disagreed with but instead of jumping in she set up a thread on the Wolves board about it - isn't that the best way forward? |

I actually think that's more likely to encourage people who wouldn't normally post on this board to do so.
There will always be opinions which don't run parallel to your own, but it's very easy to ignore. If someone is obviously just trying to annoy and cause mischief, just don't give them the time of day.
On any of the club boards there'll always be more of the native fans talking pap than the oppo anyway. There are some right loons over on theentertainers (sic) and redvee - but the likes of Rogues raises some interesting points and is very welcome. There are of course others but hey, who cares? |
