I'm pretty sure Cas only have about 3-4k hardcore support but they still average over 7k.

The away support at Widnes will be massive for them. I just hope the home support is decent. It was ok last time they were in super league.

They advertise on the buses in Liverpool (problem is, only 3 of them go from Widnes to Liverpool and it's almost exactly the same route).

look at average in 2000 and now... big increase most clubs would be proud of

even though we are still mocked and castigated for our crowds, we have actually had the biggest increase in crowds in the entire country over the last few years,yes we could and possibly should be getting more bums on seats, to compare our increase over the last 5 years is around 110% it's like wigan averaging 30,000.
and yes we are also hindered when compared to most clubs in the fact that we've had to fight our way up from the 3rd division of the league structure to the top pf super league, whereas most clubs were regular top flight competitors when we were languishing in the 2nd/3rd divisions therefore they had a solid fan base to count upon.
im sure however that how ever many we bring over we will make plenty of noise and hopefully be celebrating again

We took about 15k + to Wembley were are they now? Our crowds are on the up and have improved but would love to see us getting 10k every home game

You can use it in advance from the main ticket office or on the day from the East Stand ticket office. So, if you missed out on the official discounted tickets, anyone who can get anywhere vaguely near the Chorley or South Ribble borough could save a few quid with that deal. Worth noting that it can only be used in the East Stand.

Were you abducted by aliens in the 80's when we nearly went to the wall? suppose you started supporting Wigan at the time of Offiah and Gregory ect when you were winning everything. We on the other hand supported our club thru thick and thin and even mucked in at the ground to keep the club going. I hope it never happens but if Wigan are ever in decline like we were, fools like you woud be gone like a shot.
We might not have the most fans but we have some bl00dy good ones not every team can say the same thing!!!!
