The only fantasy is the rubbish being discussed on this thread! IL knew exactly what was going on and personally negotiated a good deal given the situation that was forced on him by Hock. Most of the comments on tthis thread are way off the mark.

IL did not know about. If you took your defender of Wigan RLFC hat off for a second then maybe you will understand. I mentioned Gleeson because it was some time for two reasons. Wigan RLFC staff tried to get Martin Gleeson away before Madge saw him. He was too stubborn and Madge saw him which led to his eventual departure. A Wigan RLFC employee and the third party tried to solve the problem facing Martin Gleeson only to make it far worse.

In the last month or so Ian Lenagan asked that Wigan employee did he know the third party and he said no. The example shows you that Ian Lenagan clearly does not know everything that happens at Wigan RLFC and that employees lie to him.

The third party has done several 'tasks' for a Wigan employee in the name of Wigan RLFC.

Most people know that Gareth Hock is not the first person to go on loan to Widnes for a season due to internal problems at Wigan. One of the players involved in that issue who is still at Wigan was also guilty of vandalising (keying) another players car mid season. No public destruction of that Wigan player though by club or fans.

Discipline at Wigan RLFC has gone backwards since Michael Maguire left. Ian Lenagan is one man. A very clever and successful man who despite selling his business still divides his time between two sporting club and other activities.

If he knew about it Rogues then he would not have made the press statement he did and somebody else may have lost their job. I believe Ian Lenagan tries to run Wigan to the highest standardspossible but he is just one person and the involvement of this third party would never have been allowed had Ian Lenagan known about it.

Ian Lenagan reads these boards, I find it very hard to believe he would counsel the opinion of just one person on such a serious matter. He has openly admitted to speaking to Hock and his agent. If they told him a different story then why wouldn't he ask others. Even you must admit that doesn't add up. Don't forget these meetings were before the statement.

Gareth Hock refused to say anything. Likewise the other Wigan employee. How can Ian Lenagan be expected to solve a problem when neither person is giving him the information. The only solution was the one Ian Lenagan opted for.

I'm impressed the way you know so much about IL, his movements of the last few weeks, how much he knows, what conversations he's had, what decisions he reached, etc.

People questioning what you're posting on a public forum isn't bullying, insulting or anything else you might want to make up. Nothing in reply to any of the "free the Wigan one" defenders has come close to breaking the AUP. If you're that sensitive you can't handle people questioning rumours you're in the wrong place.
