As with Bolton. They claim they don't care but the songs they sing and the fact they always know our results begs to differ (similar to the Latics/Rugby rivalry)

Speaking as a life long Wanderers fan, going back to the late 60's, we only have one team we like to beat and that's United. That is seen as the Bolton "derby". I still have a badge i bought 35 years ago proclaiming my dislike of them. If we, WRLFC, were in a different division to Saints we would be gutted we were not playing them, Latic's are only of interest to Bolton when in the same division.

As a United fan I can quite honestly say Bolton are near the bottom of the list of teams we love to beat



Lets be honest though there isn't many teams in the country who wouldn't love to beat United over most other teams.

Thats one way too as you say so its not really a rivalry so to speak. I dont think Bolton have any proper rivals. I know Blackpool and Bury hate us but thats one way too. If Wigan stay in prem for a bit longer it could develop into a rivalry but its not quite there yet where i want them to lose every game no matter what

Since a Blackpool fan got stabbed to death at a game a while back outside Bloomfield road. Every Blackpool fan i have come across has either swung a punch at me or told me they f""king hate Bolton



Looking at Blackpool message boards leading up to the game at the reebok stadium earlier in the season it was flooded with messages of how much everybody hates Bolton so its not worn off either.

Can't say Ive noticed any of that (more than the typical Wigan/Blackburn type games) on the forums, I'll take your word for it though, maybe Ive just managed to avoid those vibes!

i was there stood on the kop that day as a bwfc fan with my cousin mate a blackpool fan. as a 16 year old at the time nobody under 21 was allowed to leave the ground until hour after the end of the game.

my cousin mate was 21 and confirm with the police i had stood with him all the time of the match so i could leave via the pitch and east terrace.

since then blackpool fans as far as i know dont like wanderers or their fans
