We’re driving down to Hertfordshire, staying overnight in the Hertford/Ware area and getting the train in to Northumberland Park Station, a short walk from the ground at the end of Park Lane.

Rather than walk from SS you may want to get the bus 149 from stop D takes 10 mins. There are other options just remember to go in the direction of Tottenham not Stoke Newington. We’re not particularly friendly in London but if you ask at the station or in the street for White hart lane someone will point you in the right direction. I think the road is called High Street A10.

BTW the tube from Liverpool Street (to Enfield Town) stops at Seven Sisters then White Hart Lane so you are better off staying on. If joining the train at Seven Sisters might be full/ but pretty reasonable chance. 2 trains an hour.
If driving I’d go to Enfield Town station EN11YX or Theobalds Grove station EN88YB both are reasonably close to Junction 25 of M25 both have off street parking, the latter has £2 all day parking right by the station apparently. Both have pubs and cafes etc right next to them. Both on direct line to White hart Lane station. Check google maps Remember to buy a travel card. Enjoy the day.

Mate of mine is a Tottenham fan and recommends going to Liverpool St and getting the overground to White Hart Lane.

He also says the stadium is in a pretty grotty part of London and the bars around the ground aren’t great so better to go for a pint in the city before travelling up.

Four of us going down and back on the day in a six seater . Anybody want to jump in with us ?, room for two . £20 each for fuel costs . We’re probably going to park at Enfield and get the overground tube into Tottenham . PM me if you’re interested .

They were talking about getting a bus up from my local pub, but I don't think I can afford to hang on and see if that materialises in someting more concrete.

I am travelling down Friday morning to meet up with my mate and his partner, they booked an hotel in North London as soon as the destination was revealed. They are on 3 nights stay I am on two so we wont be sharing a car.

I would happily give someone a lift down on Friday if they need it I will be going to London Southgate Travelodge

Club shop will be open from 6am for anyone travelling from Robin Park.

We always drive down in the car and catch the overground,I'm the designated driver as i don't drink alcohol which i don't mind,we can stop at any of the services at any time unlike if you are on a coach

Was hoping to get the train as I can't make the 7:30 depart time of the club coach but then I've seen the train will cost £100+ so beyond driving somewhere closer and getting the train in I'm not sure of my options really.

We’ve got trains from Crewe in the past and they’re generally much cheaper as both Avanti and London Midland go from there. Just browsing on Trainline now and you’re talking just over £60 to get a train from Wigan to Crewe (takes 28 mins and costs about £15 return) and then Crewe to London Euston (just over 2 hours and just over £45 return).

Takes longer than going direct from Wigan obviously but it’s another option.

Yea ive heard that about the area, but been recommended the Antwerp Arms for a pre match drink. Not far from stadium. Mate says they do food too. So will be giving it a go.

Nightmare to get too on coach left at 7am got to Tottenham at 12-15 with half an hour stop. Coming back we was on coach at 6pm ready to go blocked in on coach park it was 7pm when we got on the motorway 15 min stop at services got in Wigan for 11pm .Long day but worth it to watch us win. What a stadium it is superb in every aspect .

I did the coach too (mostly cos I was worried about train issues, which seems to have happened to some extent).my coach was even later, didn't get back till around 11.20. And then had to walk home, cos the taxi queue was a mile long of course.

Coaches were ok I thought. Wembley was never a breeze either. We were probably lucky we arrived about 12ish around the ground and it was busy fighting through to the coach park. A few others I know said it was more chaotic later on. I was pretty surprised we got away as quickly as we did, as I had visions of being sat on there until 7/8pm. I felt for the Leigh fans legging it down from the coach park about 12.15/20ish and I got told a few if their coaches were even later and some missed the first half or more.

Did anyone see the car full of Leythers broken down on the motorway giving out the fingers to Wiganers, no way they got to see their game until half time (if at all).
