Come on guys! Tomkins is a class player and imo probably the best in SL at the moment but has a long way to go to become one of the world legends of the game! That can only be achieved by consistantly playing as he is at the moment against the best players in the world eg the Aussies and Kiwis.

On the other side of the coin we had someone like Schofield who was successful in a dozen or so international matches (although we won nothing of note), yet was pretty poor for much of his domestic career.....and yet, he is looked fondly upon (in Yorkshire anyway) as an eighties legend.

he had a really good chip and chase but for me at international level he was never fast enough.
