Farrell cannot play for Widnes in the CC. He's cup tied with us having played against Sheffield.

| He was probably a bag of nerves last week with all the hype in the media about his so called big chance to get into the first team. He does have some holes in his game but then again who doesn't and his desire to play for Wigan is without question. I would sooner have a team full of folk like him than the likes of some players we have had in the fairly recent past and I truly hope his dream comes true one day but in the meantime he would maybe do himself a favour if he just settles into a regular team spot and starts enjoying his rugby again rather than wondering where the hell he will be playing the next week. Keep the faith Sean - look forward to seeing you back with us when the time is right.

| Quote Grimmy="Grimmy"Ahh ok, so if anything I guess he's closer to the first team. Still I'm suprised we didn't wait a couple of weeks, we might still be struggling for bodies this week and then next week if he plays for Widnes we'd be helping the opposition and he'll get cup tied to a knocked out team.'"
He can come back off dual reg at very short notice I think. He can also train some of the time with Wigan which must be a good thing to get some of the MM type coaching under his belt.
I was sceptical of the dual reg idea when it first came up but I think its preferable to loaning players out to poor SL teams as the players still get to train with Wigan.

| Having seen the squad I still don't get this, with Phelps out injured he could have stayed on the wing with Richards moving to full back. I can only deduce that he must have fallen behind Pryce in the pecking order.

Could Ainscough be going the way Kevin Brown went when he was at Wigan? Believing his own hype and getting too big for his boots?

| Ainscough I think is a great finisher given the chance. He just needs some time to develop the rest of his game. Last night he didn't really have much of the ball but he will improve. Ben Davies however will be in a Wigan shirt next season, he is too good to stay with us. Could see him being in an England shirt in a season or two, very bright future same to be said with Farrell.

Where is the evidence he has an attitude problem? He gave an interview about not playing for Cas v Wigan and in that came across as if he had his head screwed on properly and he seems to have accepted he must wait for his chance a while yet.
People need to get off his back and give up with the exaggeration on how poor his defence is and we don't need to start a myth he has an attitude problem, though he could be forgiven for being a bit miffed that his only chance this season in the first team was in that side v Quins.
