I'm wondering who is going to play the COVID card first though, Leigh or fev with a game or 2 to go. As long as 70% of fixtures are fulfilled clubs can call of games due to COVID and with those 2 clubs pretty much already guaranteed a top 2 finish I can see sudden illnesses creeping up.

I'm salivating at the thought of Wire losing against Toulouse. It would be a great moment for SL for a newly promoted French team to survive without being given a helping hand.

Leigh could pretty much start selling their Superleague season tickets if it wasn’t for one man IMO and that’s Brian McDermott. They’re too good on paper for Fev but in a one off Grand Final, Brian McDermott knows a thing or two about pulling off a backs to the wall victory.

In a one off game, Batley could scupper Fev's chances of even getting to the Grand Final. They've beaten them, and drawn with them already this season.

Really hope Leigh go up next year - would make for some really interesting fixtures with Lam there, a competitive Leigh squad and big crowds that sadly weren’t possible in 2021. Concerned about the future of Toulouse after relegation though.

I really hope you do come up and I think you will but it wouldn’t be the biggest shock to me if Brian Mac got his team to produce a seasons best performance in the final (if they beat Batley first) and they pinched a win.
