The underhanded introduction of the £5.00 charge is truly been missed on this thread. The broken promise of the availability of this free parking is been missed by this thread. Once again those who have the power to take something away have won the day. No honour , no empathy with those they exploit and the march of human greed is accepted with just a shrug of the shoulder . I despair

it hasnt been lost, but as this is nothing to do with Wigan RL, we cannot do anything about it.
as has also been stated, this only brings us inline with every other stadium.

the issue i guess is the timing and the lack of publicity.

I do think it's fair enough that you have to pay on to a car park so close to the stadium, and as others have mentioned you have to pay to get on every away ground that has a car park. From the club's point of view, however, with the way attendances have been going, the last thing they need is something else that could could put off casual fans.

Just another attempt by a desperate greedy man to raise money the best way he can. Park on Asda and if you receive a ticket ignore it. The parking company would have to take you to civil court, and they very rarely do it. People like Parking Eye profit on the ignorance of the public.
