If you don't bother to go to the game when you live in the locality then you are not really a fan and therefore your views are invalid. It's simple.:icons39ad_files/4821-1859san_c-msnicons.jpg |

| Doesn't annoy me in the slightest TBH.
The better and more deserved team won IMHO - had Wigan been the better team I would of been annoyed.
Good Luck in the final.

People really go get the wrong impression about Wigan fans...
Yes we used to dominate...
Who in their right mind would not want to get back there... ?

Warrington led 16-2 in Saturday's Grand Final, but their joy was short-lived as Wigan roared back to win the Super League title and extend the Wire's 58-year wait to be champions:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_10174.png |
|
| Quote: Asgardian13 "Wigan's success 'in the super league era' hasn't amounted to much, so no reason why, given a fair wind, Warrington might not come to match it. If you mean Wigan's success [iprior [/ito Super League then no-one will ever match that because no-one is allowed under current rules to spend unlimited funds on wages and transfer fees to the extent that other clubs can't compete, which is how Wigan bought their success back then.'"
There was NOTHING stopping any other club spending the same or more than Wigan did pre-salary cap. We were the trail-blazers that dragged the game into the modern era, not our fault every other club was stuck in the 70's.

| I hate losing no matter who it's too, but losing to Wire hurts a little more than losing to other teams yes.
Can't say i'm a fan of any of our local 'rivals' tbh

In the early part of this decade we lost two semi finals against Bradford, and whilst that was disappointing, it was nothing compared to losing to you guys in 2004.
It's nothing to do with being bitter about past success, it is the fact that Wigan are a big team, and a big local rival. I would be more gutted losing against the likes of Wigan, Saints or Widnes, than Hudds, Bradford or Hull KR.

| The only thing that makes losing to Wire or Saints worse in my eyes is that it results in even more of them coming no here spouting crap.

| Quote: Cruncher "As Pemps said, I think most Wigan fans were over it by Saturday night. That's the cup for you - there can be only two in the final, and nearly everyone else has to get knocked out by someone. It's not as if there's anyone in the entire league who isn't used to being knocked out of the CC.
It matters less about who did it, then the manner of it. Warrington deserved their win, but Wigan can do a lot better than that - something we could say about the last two semi-finals they've appeared in. This 'bottling the big games' factor is the biggest sore point re. Saturday, but it doesn't only refer to Saturday.
I predict the Wire fans to attempt a big Wembley wind-up on Friday, but I also predict that it will go quiet very quickly if Wigan play as well as they can.'"
I suggest you keep away from the bookies!!
If the Wire go behind and the further they go behind the greater the Wembley wind up will be! Not a prediction...........a guarrantee!!
