The game was tight throughout, any score would have changed the dynamic and added to the drama.

As for a two point score, I’m sure Wigan fans would have been delighted if Hardaker had got two points for kicking that last minute goal.

That there are more kicks in play in league as opposed to union

Perhaps we could take a leaf out of the "Its a knock out" book of rules and have a special joker card that can be played by the water carrier where scores are worth twice their normal value for the period when the card is in play.

Why not make the value of the try more important by increasing it to five points with two points for all goals.

And the game once more takes another step to being 3 separate sports playing under the name rugby league. SL rules, NRL rules and international rules. It’s ridiculous. The IRFL need to be the ones deciding on any rule changes. I can’t keep up with it all. And if I can’t, why or how would a casual sports fan?

Perhaps we should take all conversions from the same central point like grid iron football. I have always thought that we are reducing the value of tries scored out wide by making the conversion more difficult.

Quite like the touchline conversion finish myself. E.g Farrell v Bradford 2000. The extra points in NFL still has a lot of moving parts which make it not a certainty, not so in a rugby league kick from under the sticks.

As we're talking suggestions - I would like some variant on the option to 'go for it' - score a try in one play and get four points instead of the usual two for a conversion.

It's the Auzzie way, they don't care what anyone outside their borders think.

To them it's their sport to do what they please with. I highly doubt there was any mention of the chance these changes may upset fans in northern England.
