Powell would be a really bad fit imo. I don’t think he has the temperament to coach a ‘big’ team with the associated pressure and expectation that comes with it.

No I’m not joking at all. He’s just not right for Wigan in my view. I don’t like his public persona and he’s won nothing.
Lammy is in the seat and has a clear philosophy which has not yet bedded in. He deserves the chance to embed his systems and a few players who he thinks can deliver it. If he’s given that chance and fails, I’ll hold my hand up and say I was wrong. |
