Just ban them site wide, it'll sort the PM problem out.

It's too few and far between though Dave and highlights the problem I suggested earlier re the frequency of mods. Given the traffic that comes on this site, especially with the current Tomkins obsession by fans of other clubs who share a brain cell, it needs addressing.

That is why I am putting myself forward to be a mod on a "clean this town up mandate".

How about a probationary period wherby you demonstrate your adherence to your mandate with a weekly list of permanently banned trolls? Maybe set you a minimum target of 1 a day? You'd get my vote too in that case.

The OP doesn't, but many posted on this thread constantly troll the Warrington forum in exactly the same way. Make stupid comments about certain players and call fans scum. It is pathetic, but it works both ways. Like the Deano G post at the end of the first page, that is done with only one intention, to provoke Wire fans. Stupid and immature.

It doesn't, but when you have Wigan fans posting stuff like " Wire can only score against crap teams" (which isn't the case). When you get a hiding, you're bound to get it back. To be fair, the Wire mods are quite fair and give the Wiganers a chance to have a crack, seems they don't like the banter back though.

The first bit I've underlined is where, if you are the man of integrity you imply you are, you'd have finished. The second bit is where you prove that you're here with that old familiar agenda.

This is actually a simple equation. The biggest and brightest get the most gainsayers.

Nothing new in that or shocking, but if it offends anyone then my response is simple - if you weren't on here trolling in the first place, you wouldn't have seen it to be offended by.

Then maybe you should take that up with your mods? I posted on the Wire board yesterday, nothing I said was trolling or a wind-up. Why should I put up with all the trolls on here because of one or two Wigan fans wreaking havoc on the Wire board?
