I'd love to have seen the Trent Barrett of 4 years ago playing with Sam as 7 behind next year's pack. He was playing behind a struggling pack in most games while he was here.
Still, we've got Finch and Sam playing behind the 2011 pack to look forward to!

Quite simply an outstanding rugby league player and a joy to watch.Its a shame he was only really let off the leash by the coaches at Wigan when we were getting hammered in games and it was a final throw of the dice.
He is pretty young at 32 to be calling it a day, but given his style of play which was more like an extra forward as well as a fantastic half back his body has probably had enough.
Would have loved to have seen him play his natural game more often at Wigan, but still fantastic for us a real quality.

Best player in Super League while he was here. Played in an atrociously poor coached side, but still his class shone through. One of the best imports I've seen in years.

There's a reason that we were known at times as Barrett and the Twelve Disciples, he won a hell of a lot of games for us.
That ridiculous pass for our first try at Bradford in the playoffs was superb, must have missed out about 8 people!

If only our game plan would have allowed him to do that from the kick off!! Not talking about throwing wild passes and going for broke right from the off, but just giving the team more freedom to be led on the field by Trent a man who I am sure from watching him play has forgotten more about attacking rugby league, runners and pass picking than BN has ever know.
That for me was one of the most frustrating things about having BN as our coach. |

I like the fact he said Live on Sky at the end of the Bradford game it was one of the best wins he's been a part of. That'll do for me, because it was one of the best games I've ever seen.
