It seems we are finding out the influence of GH's agent.
He tries to get Gaz more money, due to Hock believeing he is worth it, then ends up with having his client leaving the top of the table club to play for the team that finished bottom of the League.
I do hope that's not true and I've read something wrongly into this. If the above is anything like true then I genuinely feel sorry for Gaz.

He did want more money. Then a major issue with Wane hit which caused him to just want out, regardless of money or anything. |

So why didn't he take the latter Aus options that Wigan provided for him?
Seems odd that he's accepted a deal at Widnes.
Has the problem that 'forced him to leave' now receded, or was it not such a problem that he wouldn't be okay just down the road?

The problem is, on one hand, you're claiming that Hock left because an issue arose so bad that you too would have wanted to leave. But on the other, you're claiming that Hock left because of an issue with Wane.
Are these issues one and the same? |
