I have to say that that is the worst Wigan (or any team for that matter) shirt I have ever seen. It's times like this that I realise how lucky I am not to be a Wigan fan.



No seriousley I can understand how you all feel about it. It is truly awful. Why they can't leave clubs shirts as they should be bar a few tweaks is beyond comprehension. We have only got a shallow Vee on our shirt this year but at least it is recognisable as a saints shirt.

A huge sales opportunity missed by the club.
IMO the shirts are primarily for the fans really, as the players (i guess) wouldnt care what they wear.
Their job is solely to win trophies. As it should be.

The kit looks even worse when you see it with the BRIGHT red shorts. I am gutted about this strip, it is truely revoliting.

We owe Mr Lenagan a massive debt of gratiude for everything he has done and achived, but he really has dropped a b0110k with this design (I feel really bad saying that, so consider it more lovers tiff than a full blown fall out

I wonder if there are 2 away strips and they were going to judge the response to this one before anouncing the design?, i am sure that they have always come anounced at the same time in years previous years?

The shirt looks ok and i will be wearing it. I think its a hell of a lot better than some of the old ones, 2008 home shirt was awful, 1997 home & away shirts were awful, 1996 away shirt was the worst.

Disgraceful attempt at a shirt. We have an identity and that is not it. A shirt is something we are supposed to be proud of wearing as they represent us. Truly horrific and £40 will be staying in my pocket guaranteed. That's now 3 seasons worth of shirts I've not bothered with.

Hate the thing, pity the sponsor is not Applicado FFS because that is what I think of this effort. Haven't bought a shirt for a couple of seasons, waiting for a good one and this certainly isn't it. Hope the away strip is something like otherwise another season in an original retro shirt. Why do the club not listen to the fans, surely they know what we want so they obviously do not read this site as we have been lead to believe.

Just seen this. This is so bad it's laughable. How can they make such a fundamental cock up. No doubt the majority moaning will still end up buying it. Last year was the first in 10 I didn't purchase a replica shirt and I don't intend to start again after seeing this. Will more than likely buy a champions polo shirt if anything.

Take out the white splodges in the middle, and its not actually that bad.

I know for a fact that JJB will not be stocking the shirts until February.

I'm really not so sure they will with this one - it's that bad. Suppose it depends on the quality of the away shirt.

I'm surprised the sponsors haven't complained that their logo doesn't stand out a bit more.

Its an absolute shocker. The design is ok, but just let it be cherry and white hoops instead of cherry and pink. Simples.

At least we won't have to wear our away kit at Saints away cos the kits do not clash at all! I wonder if that what they are thinking.

Tbh its so bad that I hope they change it and get us another I know that would mean after xmas but I guarantee they will lose more on this shirt than they will releasing a good shirt after xmas.
