We lost ,move on (said that before)


Its a blip.as said we need some adversity to kick us up the ar*e,this will be sorted.
To put it into context-Havard,O'Neil,Miski,Field,Keiron-all first teamers all missing,I know all teams have injuries but so do we.


Also how good are Wigan that when we lose it is a shock but when we win its not and it is expected. 

MadDogg: Losing the game off the back of a header doesn't feel right. Don't understand that rule at all.  Thought Wigan were OK in the conditions. A few daft decisions in good ball but defensively we were decent. Losing Field obviously has a big impact - French just doesn't have the same level of fitness in that position.  Don't mind us facing a bit of adversity actually. Might be wrong but I thought the rule was you couldn't deliberately head it forward, fair to say Hall new precious little about what happened, good luck for Leeds, bad for us

Yes, that how its done now since Saints started to head it on purpose. A knock on can only come from a part of the body that can "score a try".

You’ve had Alex Ferguson in to motivate the team before, why don’t you get him back to have a word with the ref’s bosses. Better still, you could buy him a shed load of chewing gum and have him stood on the touch line every week going purple in the face. My guess why you’re penalised so much would be slowing down the play the ball, offside etc.  You don’t seem a particularly dirty team at the moment, just lots of regular low level infringements.

I would say you were getting a much faster play the ball then we were permitted on Saturday night, some of it was earned as you were playing on the front foot but some of it felt excessive.

By god your fans can moan too. Congrats on the win though regardless, the deserved team did win on the night even if it was by a lucky head of the ball and questionably given conversion.

Maybe read the 'Discipline' thread and comment there. You'll see that we actually don't get penalized more than other teams. We lose the penalty counts because other teams get penalized less when playing us than when they play any other team in the league. Which means they're either all changing the way they play (highly unlikely, I think you'll agree) or something irregular is going on. We lose penalty counts even when comprehensively beating teams. I believe Huddersfield didn't have a single penalty awarded against them recently even though we thrashed them and were on the front foot. Highly unusual, no?

First things first, this isn't anything to do with Leeds or your win on Saturday. It was deserved and I've no issues with that but as Phuzzy says above, I've posted in the discipline thread just how strange our games are in comparison to pretty much every one across the league. We've had 8 penalties in 5 games, which even the biggest Wigan hater in the world would say is unusual! We don't give away many either and in fact are the least penalised team in the league with 16 but we still lose every penalty count pretty much. Using Saints games as a comparison, they've been given 33 penalties and given away 23, so there have been 56 penalties in their games. In our 5 games there have been 24 penalties in total, so a difference of 32 penalties. It's like we're playing a different sport. 

Fergie's face would be more than purple, it would be in a thousand pieces on the Old Trafford touchline. 

I think the game could have gone either way.  I wouldn’t have complained if Wigan had won, but I think ultimately we deserved it. As for our fans moaning, I think all home fans have a good moan to influence the ref, it’s just that we have more than most other clubs so it’s more noticeable when you have 15,000 having their say. 

It would have looked pretty suspect if a Wigan fan reffing his hometown team had caned Huddersfield on the penalties. Maybe Liam Moore was just happy his team was winning easily and decided to fly under the radar ?
