That would’ve had him here for training this week, so I guess we’ll have to see. I hope he’s here soon because from what I was told about his conditioning, he’ll need to be worked hard over this next couple of months.

Just going back to a couple of his Souths games late in their season when I was told by a couple of people that he looked unfit. There’s no more to it than that but you’d like to think we can get a good pre season in to him and his arrival doesn’t drag on.

Ah right! Fair enough. I do think the fact that he featured in the majority of South's matches last season suggests his fitness is fine though. They were at the top of their game last year and I'm pretty sure they wouldn't have got to the GF fielding unfit players.

He was 18th man in the Aussy grand final. He cant be that unfit

We’ll see how he shapes up. The lads who mentioned it to me are as far away from people who find fault in everything as you could find, so I certainly trust their judgment that there is work to do. They said he was blowing out of his backside in one game and looked ready for falling over. I posted it on here at the time but forget the game. He did lose his place straight after that from memory, so maybe it’s why he was 18th man and not in the 17 that played in the Grand Final.

I watched the same game and think I posted something along the lines of what your mates said. He looked absolutely goosed at one point and it wasn't after a big run, or long passage of play.

I'm sure he'll be fine and it's not a worrying type of post etc. Just an observation of what was pretty clear to anyone who watched the game.
