I dont really agree with the idea of playing in cardiff in the cold. But, i will be there regardless of where and when its played, ill be there supporting my team. Because isn't that what its about?. Going supporting your team wherever and whenever.

Well not really with this concept, no.

Don t like the idea of the magic weekend but thinking if the Rfl went back to derbies the obvious would be wigan saints and warrington would be left with salford, in my mind not fare but was just thinking if anyone had the relative distance betwen the grounds and perhaps we could push for a Warrington Saints game and we play salford. It would be interesting if this happend how many wire fans suddenly found the magic weekend being derby draws a good idea.

Scrap it, if it isn't in next seasons fixture list I doubt if anyone would notice or care !

If they make it a derbies weekend, then it ought to effectively be one of the regular 26 rounds, and scrap the 27th game. Evens up the fixtures so nobody gets a "free & easy" game, leaves an extra weekend for a meaningful warmup game for the internationals (whether that be roses game, SL v overseas or whatever). Everyone's a winner then (apart from us freezing our nuts off in Feb!)

Only problem with that is who's "home game" does it count as

Play the Magic Weekend but change the format to a sevens or nines competition, making available a extra trophy to win each season. Make it that teams have to have at least 2/3 players from their academy setup and that would promote the junior English Players onto a Sky audience.

I was freezing in Ediburgh so I put my pyjamas under my clothes on the second day. That was July! How cold is it going to be sitting through 4 matches in February.

They can't make it part of the regular fixtures because Wigan would miss out on a 20,000 gate and large receipts or Saints would miss out on a good gate at Anfield, possibly.

Scrap it, its a horrible, cringeworthy money making disaster. Half empty stadium for every game, no atmosphere and too expensive. Rubbish.
