They keep lids on bottles now, the Bradford touchjudge incident was a while ago now  |

| I think £17 behind the sticks at Wire is very reasonable. IMO it's probably the most fan friendly ground in SL.
- it's got a roof.
- deep steps (good for shorts like me  ).
- terracing (prefer standing anyway).
- good refreshments (2-pint pots  ).
- you can take your ale into the stands.
- always a good atmosphere.
- easy to get away from when the Wigan Walk is needed
- there's even room for flags up at the back of the stands.
Certainly beats £18 at Wakey, £20 at Leeds/HKR, etc.
The seating prices are steep, but that's the cost of supporting your team. If you can't afford it stand, if you don't want to pay it don't go. Simple. |
