It didn't get to court. The CPS decided not to take it further which unfortunately means that guilt or innocents had not been proved one way or the other and mud sticks.

Are you a Saints, Leeds or Warrington fan?
Ganson is one of the better refs, but he has made numerous bad decisions against Wigan in important games these past few seasons - by bad I mean 100% unforgivably wrong, some as VR, which have certainly contributed to Wigan losing. ( Leeds CC Q/F when he gave a handover after Lee Smith knocked on instead of a Wigan attacking scrum 10 metres out, for example).
Let's be thankful he was out of action and Silverwood was given the Play Off S/F and GF - Ganson was ref and certainly favoured Saints in the previous year's SF. ( Did Sean Long illegally drag Joel T into touch after the tackle had been made with 2 minutes to go and Saints leading by a couple of points? Even the Sky commentators thought he had)
He is a Saints fan/member and when push comes to shove in the heat of the moment, I honestly think his impartiality may be affected. Call it human nature or what you want. Cummins/the RL are at fault - refs should not be allowed to officiate their home town's matches - nor their home country's - as the farcical decisions in last week's England v Australia game proved.
