I kept the faith and I kept voting
Not for the iron fist but for the helping hand
For theirs is a land with a wall around it
And mine is a faith in my fellow man
Theirs is a land of hope and glory
Mine is the green field and the factory floor
Theirs are the skies all dark with bombers
And mine is the peace we knew

Or in reality, McGuire tugged a bit at Carmont's shirt while Carmont was still in his own half with Leeds players covering and Carmont fell over like Emile Heskey, and Richards hoofed his awful "kick on" pretty much straight into touch and was then tackled a split second later. If Donald had made a Herculean effort and somehow avoided Richards then there was still absolutely no chance whatsoever he would have gotten anywhere near the ball apart from picking it up from the crowd after the hooter.
This is the most pathetic thread I've seen on this forum. You're still in it. Leeds have won 3 GF's after losing their first playoff game. You didn't lose your best player either, the one guy who's been ripping it up all year for us consistantly making big plays. In the last few weeks we lost the England captain until next April, the guy who could have filled in for him to a brainless challenge from a Cas cement head and have most of the rest of our pack carrying serious knocks. Stop whining, oh sorry that's us isn't it? You have every chance now to put it right next week and come back strong. Champions don't give up. Are you Champions? Time to ask the question.

Carmont would of stayed up if he could of done, why would he go down with seconds left and an easy tryscoring opportunity on the cards to win the game? Leeds players covering? What a crock of crap
If mcguire doesnt take out Carmont it would of been a try.
FWIW im not ed off or anything as its not over yet. Im just letting you know your wrong.

| McGuire had done himself in before he'd started to bring down Carmont, if I'm being honest I'm not too sure if it was a deliberate challenge, but more one out of bodily instinct. Watch the slow-mo again, McGuire's left (i think) foot catches the back of Carmont's foot as he's bringing his foot down while sprinting, this causes McGuire's foot to land back about a foot or so back from where it would do otherwise, this is when the injury occurs, due to this McGuire loses his balance and would have fallen onto the back of Carmont's leg, in turn, he tries to grab him to keep his balance, but starts to realise he's done himself an injury and falls over, bringing Carmont down with him...

Emile Heskey. Give it up, 5% chance of a try at best.

If Carmont is Emile Heskey, you are Gazza.

AS i said earlier in this thread , if the ref had of stopped the game like he should have because Brent webb was down the wigan wouldnt have broke in the first place , they where fortunate to get a shot at goal to win the game after a kick to touch

Par for the course, Tommy was down for a full set, Alibert didn't stop the game then either.

Since when have rugby games stopped for a player down? The game didnt stop when we had a man down and i see plenty of occasions where players have been down and play continues.

if hes interfering with play or you have players running in his direction it should be stopped, if its backplay then it dosnt really matter , the fact that the ref never did this for Wigan dosnt really matter we arnt talking about the incidents that stemmed from that in this thread

Of course it matters! The ref should apply the rules evenly to both teams. Webb wasnt exactly slap bang in the middle of the action either was he?

| The TL one was in back play, at the time looked pretty serious - face down motionless, that and Leeds pressing on our line was sending our fans into a frenzy.
