| Clark’s first game for months... he was always going to be off the pace.
AL: "I was really proud of Mitch Clark. He hasn't played all year, but he's been training hard and did really well."
Why haven’t you f’ing played him before then? You really think Tony Clubb making 31m a game is a better option? Or Joe Shorrocks? Why’s it taken 7 games to test that?

| I think it is clear that Shorrocks is part of Lam's planning in a way that Clark isn't. And I can see sense in that. He isn't a prop anyway, so I don't think it's case of, him or Clark for a spot.

The Prop Problem just got worse if this is true.
https://www.wigantoday.net/sport/rugby- ... es-3241565
Unless we read the obvious into it, namely that someone bigger and better is on the way.
But unless it's someone pretty good, I'd be disappointed. I know a few folk on here don't feel that Bullock works hard enough, but I've always felt he has real potential to be an effective strike weapon ... if a coach were ever to come along who could bring that out of him.

| Bullock seems to have a face that does not fit. We have heard that before at Wigan. How many years have we been spending the whole first half on the back foot before fighting back waiting to sign a prop who can make meters after contact? I know that we have done pretty well playing a defensive game but we are competing with Saints who are still a couple of steps up on us. Bullock can go forward bit his defence is less robust so he will probably be replaced with a 90kg converted back row. If this and the Kilner rumour true we could have lost four props by seasons end unless Clubb gets an extension. Sadly I would not rule anything out.

| Really like the lad. If he does go to Warrington I’d like to see if they could get more out of him, to me he looks like somethings held back. Whether that can be coached out of him would be interesting to see.
Looking like we’ll have a big transitioning year next year with people coming in and out, maybe even swap out of Lam.

| Somebody watch Bullocks attempted “tackle” for Hull second try in the cup loss and tell me they’d be upset he’s leaving. But no the odd good 15m carry in his 12min spell and the Facebook fans really rate him.
I’d stated before and I’ll state again it’s not the young lads letting us down, it’s the senior props (bullock, Singleton, Clark, Clubb).
We should be losing 3 of them at the end of the year, hopefully Singleton can find last years form and we sign 2/3 good props.

If he gets a catchy tune like Tony Clubb he'll be a club legend.

| Yeah I wouldn't be too bothered about Bullock leaving as we can't seem to get his (consistent) best out of him at all.
I would be bothered if his "replacement" is Joe Shorrocks or Liam Byrne though.

3076_1671446335.jpg SAINTS THE ORIGINAL AND PERENNIAL CHEATS
For sale full Saints kit (circa 1989). Shirts in pristine condition, but shorts badly soiled.
For 27 - 0 you get a trophy
For 75 - 0 you get sod all.
Wigan had eight in a row
Saints have five in a row:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_3076.jpg |

Exactly. I'd also take Chris Hill for a year.

Well, quite. Let's replace Bullock before we start worrying about replacing Shorrocks or Byrne.

| Article in Wigan Today has a George Burgess interview in who says he’s spoken to IL about coming back to Wigan. I think he could well be a shrewd signing albeit in a much reduced contract, possibly even pay as you play.
With the surgeon he had who resolved a SARU players hip injury which was exactly the same as his there’s no reason why he can’t come back as fit as he was a few years ago.

Very valid point. The chances are though, that we’ll replace Bullock with Mason who doesn’t look much different to Bullock.

Interesting to hear him say that, if a move to SL was on the cards, Wigan is the place he'd
definitely go to.
Whisper it quietly, but that sounds like a player actually repaying & appreciating the effort/time/money a club has put into them.
