I agree that Gleeson can be better than all of those centres you suggest but when was the last time you can remember him hitting top form?

Since he left Saints i've only seen him for Wire on the telly or against Saints & he has not set the game alight very often at all - though his talent is doubtless he just isn't getting things right.

He could be a belting buy for Wigan if you give him the service he needs and space in which to work which is what he got at Saints and has suffered from a lack of at Warrington

He's playing for Dire though isn't he? If you surround a brilliant player with rubbish then he'll also look rubbish. That's the reason that so many NRL players coming here don't set it alight like they did over there because the other players aren't as good as the NRL teammates he would have had. That and the game is different but yeah you see my point.
