I think most fans here think Childs is one of the poorest refs, to say the least. And I don't disagree. To suggest individual refs are bent, though, is daft.

You can't blame us really, sh!!te beer, stale pies, cars vandalism, the worst ref going who thinks we'll have trailed all that way just to watch him.

To be fair we have rarely taken many to Wigan (the usual thrashing doesn't help), saying that it was a poor turnout of
Wigan fans at BV earlier in the season.

With our injury list and the way Wigan are playing lately I can see a 30+ point thrashing for us.

Away crowds are down across the board to be fair. I'd say our average following over in Yorkshire has probably fallen from 1200-1500 to probably less then 1000. By the same token Wakeys in Lancashire has fallen from around 60 to 53. A devastating blow to clubs finances this side of the Pennines!!

Haha we have only had thaler once as ref all season and that was in the cup and we have only had 4 games on sky so dout hes been video ref that many times

Being serious for a second, You Wakey fans don't actually believe one ref is biased enough against you to make it worthwhile boycotting a game? Some are poor and I'd agree that Child is as bad as they come but that's for all teams.

I actually think the reffing has picked up recently. The new guys seem to be pretty good and it's helping that they don't seem totally arrogant lile one or two of the old guard.

All referees give decisions as they see them if it's a penalty then it's a penalty, all any supporter can ask for is consistency which doesn't always happen, and when you lose more than you win you tend to look for excuses.
As you'll appreciate which ever way your travelling over the 62 on a Friday night it's far from ideal, like you at our place you'd plenty missing so have we tomorrow and there all forwards and as hard as it would have been with a nearly full side out anyway if we keep it to 40 then we'll have done well even though yourselves are missing a lot as well, as for Child he's the worst thing to happen to us since Ashley Kline so taking all those things into consideration I'm afraid Mr Child tips the scales for some of us to give it a miss.

Some people are stupid and probably do think he's biased against us. I think for most people though it's already a game they can't really be bothered with, it's a Friday night game over the Pennines, we've got a few out and are probably focusing on the semi final, Wigan will be up for this as much as any game this season after being humiliated at Belle Vue and it could quite easily be the same scoreline if not more in their favour if they really fancy it. Then throw in Child's ridiculously pedantic reffing, which we're usually on the receiving end of simply because our discipline is atrocious even with a good referee, and what would most likely have been a bad night becomes a dreadful night. I think for some he's just the straw that broke the camels back.

The only positive to you absolutely spanking us would be Vastman might stop spewing his diarrhoea for a day or two.

How many have Wakey got missing compared to us with 8 of our starting 17 out?

Probably about the same (Anderson, Michael, England, Kirmond, Scruton, and Tupou, in the forwards + Gibson and Johnstone) but we don't have the depth of quality you guys have.

Only two of those had margins of less than 12 points. Four out of the first five games you lost by margins of 14 or less.
