Got to say, I'm really surprised with how well sales have gone for this game particularly with the current spell the team is going through. Should be a great day though hopefully a win tomorrow night and then the build-up begins! How are Saints sales going? Will they sell the North? There following to our place last year was pretty poor from what I remember.

I'd imagine they'd sell a lot of tickets. My missus is a stains fan and the combination of us playing poorly recently and them having a decent run of results is getting them all optimistic. Hopefully we can shut them up again!

I always expected us to get around 22k-23k for this game and maybe even sell out, its the speed of sales more than anything! Usually these announcements only come around 3 or 4 days before the game. Great stuff though I can't wait hopefully we'll see a rare home win !

I very much doubt last years game or the game in 2009 had sold over 21k over a week before the game though.

We need to win these games to keep the people coming. Our average would be well up had we won infront of all these big crowds. Quins last year and warrington this year could be pretty harmful to the gates as we didn't play well in either.

1316 tickets left in wigan end a week before the game, sure to be heading for a sell out in our 3 stands and definatley so if we win tonight

Anyone know what attendance we'll have if all stands end up selling out? I know North and South can't sell every seat with it being unreserved.

I reckon the East Stand will sell out this weekend.
The West could go by midweek.
Could we end up with a situation that if Saints send any of their second allocation back we could end up with Wigan fans mixed in the North?

Got ours yesdi. Was told that in the East there was nothing and best was the 10 metre line in the West. There are five of us though.

More tickets may be released, though not many I'd imagine.

I'd very much doubt it.

Regarding this NHS allocation, how much did we sell them for and how many? Can't understand why we would arrange discounted tickets (assumed) on our biggest game of the season when we would sell at full price as a matter of course anyway!

93 (all single seats) left in the East, plus the small allocation of NHS tickets which may become available.

Plus whatever is left in the North.

Why do we seem to always have excessive numbers of single seats? Surely they can be sold better than they are to avoid this - realistically even if all the seats in the rest of the ground go, I would anticipate we're not going to sell more than half of the 90 odd single seats left as most people simply wont go to the rugby and sit on their own! This then ends up lost revenue to the club and 50/60 odd less on the crowd at the end of the day. I can understand the odd single seat will be inevitable but ninety bloody three?!?!?
