| If Noble had give the players abit more of a licence to chance their arm on Friday night we'd have won the game imo. We had the majority of ball and chances but went one out too often and paid the price for it.
He picked a team full of athletic ability again including 5 backrowers yet all we did was drive it up the middle and that asked far too much of Fielden, Feka and O'Carroll.
Noble needs to have a drastic re-think as to his gameplan for this side or he's going to be out of a job before too long. He has a good athletic team at his disposal yet continues to try and play the old 'Bradford way' of bashing down the middle.
We have better players then Wakefield or Hull yet lost both games because we played into their hands.

| Well, a narrow loss at home to Quins and thoughts begin to turn to the JJB on Friday. I'm not sure how Cas will go tbh but I was very surprised to call in and see a thread titled "Come on Cas".
You seem to want Noble out pretty bad. Maybe we can cut some kind of deal?

Good post. Agree 100%.
The scary thing is both Salford's and Celtic's attacking game plans are years ahead of ours based on last night's game.

| All the fans have wanted all off season is a good start to the season.
No disrespect to any of the clubs we were playing, but we had a p*ss easy start to the season. We shouldn't have had a problem until Leeds away, by which point we could have and should have already amassed 10 points.
Although I wouldn't go as far to say I hope we lose, I am certainly not delighted with Noble at the club.
I have thought all along, as well as Noble did to save us from relegation, that he was not the man to take us to silverware. And as for the fans who think he deserves an infinite amount of time to get things right because he saved us from relegation; we've sacked coaches who've actaully won silver ware in less time than Noble's had, and we've shown no signs of improvement under Noble.
The favourite word from the club, and a lot of the fans is stability, but what's the point in having stability if its wiith the wrong man in charge?
It is pointless sacking Noble until we have a replacment ready, but if I were IL I'd be looking for a suitable replacement, and as soon as one becomes available, I'd be showing Noble (as nice a guy as he undoubtedly is) the door.

What has Higham got to do with this, seriously are you his boyfriend? Every post is about Higham, i do not mind if you are homosexual fair play to you, i think the entire world is a lot more open minded these days and i hope he accepts your offer of a civil partnership one day, even though as far as I know Micky is straight, but you may wish to tone the hero worship down, its sickly.'" no its true cock dont try to twist it ,you have bummed up this riddell and bagged higham nothin to do with gay so quit that mate ,the tread is riddell if you look and my post is he is a total waste of time and selling higham is a disgrace ,you lot have disagread so i want to point out at this stage you all do not no anything about rugby with your wrong coments

You're judging a guy after 2 games, we're basing our opinion on Higham on 3 seasons. The platform for your argument is extremely weak, ours is considerably stronger.
Go troll elsewhere.

The only thing i think you would like to twist is a finger till it is knuckle deep in a certain hookers behind, he has a family and is not that kind of lad.
Higham has nothing to do with this thread, or many others you simply push his name in.
Higham was average at best at Wigan, on paper the Wigan team and Riddell himself are far superior to Higham, that is still clear.
Run along nick try to form a valid opinion rather than having it clouded by dreams of Mick, that simply will not happen.
P.S. i never knew you were Irish

| Quote jonh="jonh"Shock horror, unable to answer the question.
Who better to appoint than someone with a bigger ego than the lot of them? A dominant figure stamps out ego issues. They come in and take control.
You raised issues that need to be delt with by the coach, and then try to deflect away from your own points that you raised.
I await an answer to who you think should deal with the ego's in the dressing room, who picks the team and who plays a major part in the recruitment of the club? All issues you raise.
I think it is good you are going to bed so you cannot talk yourself into another corner. If you have the nouce to be able to answer the questions raised i look forward to continuing the discussion, i do not think you will though as you cannot.
Night night. The membership badge is in the post by the way.
'" i would expect noble would pick the team??, c'mon for a man of knowlege i thought that even you would have got that one??, but he picks from what he has, the damage at wiagn was doen many years before noble got the job, i read further on in your post that we were meant to have targeted buderas but ended up with piggy, so are we meant to be happy with second fiddle choices??, as i said the damage in tearms of the salary cap was done long before noble arrived. As for dealing with ego's in the dressing room, the coach would be the one to sort that out but, if there are enough players with ego's which there are at wigan it would be an almost impossible task, as i have said before the players run the rule over the coach...lokk at ian millward as your example of that one...we signed noble who as you claim before, could have been anyone to step in to replace millward as the team wanted to impress, so why have they stopped impressing???, and if we have a team good enough as you say who love the game of rugby league, why the hell would you wanna bum around and look dis-interested when on the fireld of play infront of 14,000 fans, because they dont want him there anymore and wnat to push the squeeze on gettin him out???.the recruitment of the club, well there again id like to think noble, but this is wigan and we know from experience that the coach's we've seen and gone have been the fall guy's in the past of some bad recruitment rumoured to be by an ex- chairman. in short these are problems we've had for years so to throw the buck at nobles feet is really lame imo.
