| EGW has it spot-on. Like most Wigan fans, I expect, I was pretty happy to see us go in at half-time only two points down, and thought, OK, SW can have a word and sort them out for the second half. And then...
I agree that George Williams wasn't too bad. He supplied the once piece of great skill in the whole game to spark that try, and I don't see what more we should ask of him when he's surrounded by struggling team-mates.

| And yeah, what everyone said about Bowen. I watched his last couple of seasons for the Cowboys, and whilst clearly past his best, he still looked a class act against, frankly, much better opposition than he's facing in the SL, including Leeds. Just not worth his wages.

| When is SW going to realise that this team is struggling? They haven't played one good game yet all season including the friendlies. He trots out the same excuses every week.
The forwards are getting butchered every week, penalties galore, basic errors, dropped balls etc etc. I don't blame the halves because they are playing behind a beaten pack every week. Even the games won at home have been less than convincing and could easily have been defeats.
At the moment this is looking like the worst Wigan team in a decade. It will be interesting to see if SW can turn this round.

A few weeks ago I read in a couple of newspapers that Bowen had said that he could be interested in doing a 3rd season at Wigan, I am wondering if that suggestion has been turned down by the club. If that is the case it seems that Bowen has made is mind up that he will just go through the motions for the rest of the season and let his contract run down.

| Don't worry you have us next and were excellent at kickstarting somebody else's season! Saying that, I'm a bit more enthusiastic about going to DW this year then a few years ago when you had Tomkins, Leuluai and Richards.

| Our props stats aside from Tautai were embarrassing!
Mossop, Clubb and Patrick made a combined total of 12 carries! That's just not good enough and as a collective they should look long and hard at themselves.
Sarginson on the other hand made 20 carries. Get the guy near their line with the ball and he's probably too tired from all the donkey work to come up with anything resembling a top piece of centre play.

| I said that to my father, our forwards are soft. NEarly every set we had backs doing the hard work.

That's something Maguire brought in. Souths do it now, on our exit sets the first 3 tackles are taken in by the outside backs. The problem we seem to have at the moment is they do it regardless of where we are on the pitch. Because we have small, athletic forwards we cant graft our way out of our own half and until the weather picks up, the athleticism of the forwards is being nullified especially on our own pitch with is nothing short of a disgrace

Warrington led 16-2 in Saturday's Grand Final, but their joy was short-lived as Wigan roared back to win the Super League title and extend the Wire's 58-year wait to be champions:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_10174.png |

He made 30m. Mossop 28m. Clubb 26m. Shocking stats that highlight your biggest problem.

Unbelievable stats! Embarrassing. Last night was the first time I wondered if the players were getting tired of Wane's approach. The worst thing about it is that Leeds were poor and any decent side would have won comfortably. God help us against your lot on Good Friday! I have posted this week about how the pack shouldn't be written off but last night was a heartless display.

In which case. Workington should be the place for him.
