Wane has stated all along that the team would be made up of fringe first team players and academy players, and I don't have a problem with that. I enjoyed my day out.

Well I've got to say that if that's your 'future' you should be seriously worried. Your lads seriously lacked any passion and seemed to have very few ideas. I was very disappointed with your youngsters so I can't imagine how you lot must be feeling.

I payed £8-00 (EIGHT POUNDS) for the west stand,worth every penny.

Maybe our young lads should have played your young lads then for a fairer game? Not too worried about the future,some of our young lads were on show today quite a few teams don't have the luxury of having a"future"

Listen to everyone arguing about bluddy gate fees, does it really matter???? Im a Warrior and it was a friendly game, real rugby fans should just be happy to see some good plays and big tackles in the game, my opinion is i would have liked wigan to have been more organised however they wasnt, no problems! but i enjoyed watching Leigh play some enjoyable rugby league, couldnt care less about the result it's irrelevant!

Aren't they're supposed to be professional full time players? They've had the best start to their career that any kid could hope for but they didn't really seem to care, or have much idea, about the game in hand - that's my point.

BTW even though I'm a Leyther, I'm not a Wigan hater and I'm really glad that our clubs have formed a partnership. I was merely pointing out the impression I took from today's game.

The relationship between Wigan and Leigh is first class and both sets of fans should recognise this fact and stop living in the past

Yeh i dont quite understand the hatred of Wigan the Leigh fans express during these local derbys, afterall most of the leigh team is full of Wiganer's and i think were quite generous loaning you our players ETC.. I for one dont hate Leigh i think youve got a decent little setup of players very good facilities and stadium decent prices on the Jackbit and Beer, this being said you wouldnt hear me ever saying the same about stains maybe Leigh could join us in unison and both have hatred for Stains and their supporters, spread the word! I would love to see leigh in super league dont have a problem with it at all there more rugby mentality in Leigh than that of London Broncos or Salford!

Just a quick word on the Wigan/Leigh relationship. A few years ago a friend and I went to support Leigh in a championship playoff game. We both wore our Wigan shirts and stood in amongst the Leigh faithful. Despite taking some obvious stick for wearing the Wigan colours, the banter was great and our support was much appreciated by the Leigh speccies and we had a great time. We even risked a quick chorus of 'you're just a small town in Wigan' remarkably without much success! Haha. I think the relationship between the two clubs is the best it's ever been and there's no reason it shouldn't continue to be developed to the benefit of both clubs.
