| Just said this on another thread.
Leeds are a team of players who give cheap shots and always try to moan at the ref.
McGuire is a cheat.
PS- HIS DEFENCE FOR THE CHARNLEY TRY SHOWS WHY HE SHOULD NEVER BE SELECTED FOR ENGLAND.... LAUGHABLE.

| That goading by Smith after the final whistle last season I knew would come back to haunt them, 3 times now, Leeds really are a desperate club now.

If you think Wigan's forward pass won the game, think again!
Leeds were blown for a forward pass, Webb back chatted, as Leeds always do, he got penalised. Wigan scored from their set following the pen.
Leeds also allowed the ball to bounce from the kick off, which tactical genius decided that? Wigan scored from that set.
Leeds were very good but contributed quite a bit to their own downfall.
As for Cheats, Leeds took that to a new level under Tony Smith and it is still there. How you can accuse other clubs and their players for cheating after watching the Rhinos is beyond belief.
That guy Ryan Bailey is something else, twice he was warned by Alibert about lifting his knees going into the tackle. He was warned last week by the RFL about it. Whilst Bailey is on Leeds books their fans should keep quiet about the behaviour of other club's players. Bailey's an utter disgrace!'"
Yes, we keep hearing this from other fans. Unfortunately his record at Redhall proves otherwise! So what conclusion can we arrive at then Ted, eh? Urban myth or simply gormless rival fans?
And with the most penalised player last year being none other than the elder brother of the most detested cheat in SL, your very own version of the Addams Family is hardly a shining example, now is it?
And that's before we mention any past salary cap errors and points deductions.
Nope, I think best all round Ted, for anyone with any connection at Wigan to keep quiet, rather than bandy phrases about like utter disgrace.
And in any case, you can't get eat a meat n tater pie, when yer foot's stuck in yer gob! ![Wink icon_wink.gif](//www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//icon_wink.gif)

So you choose when to trust and when not to trust the RFL? They get these decisions right do they? Of course they do. Look at the 40th minute of our game against saints and see if you can spot why Tuson was banned.
Earlier in the season Lima was banned twice for tackling around the legs.
Good one.

No you won the game cos of some of the above without doubt. But the difference was the blatant forward pass this season that gave you that try. Do the maths . As for the Leeds team classed as cheats. Well that coming from a bloke who supports Wigan is pretty rich hey. You brought cheating to a new art but not to worry Sam the cheat will keep it going as long as he is playing for Wigan.

| How is Sam T a cheat - yes he gave a way a proffesional foul when tackling KS but it was the ref who chose to penalise him and not put him in the bin, which should have been the correct decision. That is not cheating, he was penalised, a high tackle ends up with a penalty - is that cheating?
As for the forward pass until touchies grow some and want to get involved forward passes will always happen - either the VR rules are ammended to compensate this or we carry on with what we have - sometimes luck goes your way and it did on Friday for Wigan the same way it went for you last year in the Playoffs in the dying seconds when IIRC the penalty Wigan had in the last 10 seconds should have been further down the pitch not in the position it was given
in making the kick easier.
Wigan were lucky on Friday but that luck will run out if we dont improve.
Enjoy your Sunday

The RFL get very little right. It's record on franchising is a joke - keeping Widnes out (again) because of financial problems under previous owners while allowing Wakefield to stay in SL on the back of financial projections and stadium promises that were woefully optimistic, at best.
It's record on disciplinary issues is little better - there is no consistency and again a distinct Yorkshire bias. The RFU have a judge heading up their disciplinary function - who heads the RFL's? Some of the rules are very poorly written - see e.g. the one regarding self defence, which confuses self defence and provocation, the whole system is a joke.
And don't even get me started on the ridiculous salary cap system, which has been inconsistently enforced and makes very little sense, or the 20/20 rule, which if you were trying to bring about a rule that was more damaging to RL you would find it difficult to top...
It's always been said of RL that we have amateurs running a professional game and sadly it's as true now as it's always been.
Anyone referring to the RFL for support for their arguments is effectively admitting they're wrong.

Cumberland or Westmorland bitter for my money.
One think you can't deny however, is that Yorkshire have the best serial killers and domestic terrorists.

| McGuire has become another of the long line at Leeds that do not reach their potential. Smith and Bailey are 2 other examples.
McGuire has gone from a potentially great support playing pacey half to a cheap shot merchant. I am certain if he concentrated on his game like the other 2 they would be far superior players.
McGuire was throwing cheap shots all night. Tried to put a few on Joel one which went un-noticed by the refs and the Sky team that was a bad one and resulted in a bit of a scuffle off the ball.
Players like the 3 mentioned could in my opinion been a real asset to the International team but lost their way, were I a Leeds fan I would be very concerned about that fact.

| Leeds Whiners - a spent force if ever there was one.
They've won so much in recent years, now its all going Pete Tong they haven't got the strength of character and psychological integrity to handle it and have gone from a skilled rugby team (Bailey excluded) to Superleague 2011's whiners and cheat shot merchants - pun intended.
We were also in the position of everything going wrong a few years ago.......... except we handled it better, no whining, no cheap shots, just getting stuck in and getting there by sheer hard graft.
Enjoy the ride boys...... it won't be fun.

| I think most opposition fan's issue with Sam T is his moments of impetulance and gamesmanship - particularly in the struggle to play the ball. He milks the penalty for all it's worth. Shame really, as he's a great prospect. He's no Darren Lockyer thats for sure. Presumably no one will entertain the idea that he deliberately knocked the ball from Maguire's hands and therefore play should have continued? ![Wink icon_wink.gif](//www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//icon_wink.gif)
