He will always be remembered for smashing up Morleys face in 2007. Great effort.

Real shame he won't make a career at Wigan as it looked at one stage like he would do really well.

Morley went for a big shot, missed, and injured himself on Daz's head. Poetic justice I suppose, but I don't see how it's relevant to a young player who could have had a bright future, having a career-threatening injury.
Fingers crossed they can find someone to help or he may never play again.

As far as him Wigan career tho he's simply not good enough to be at Wigan.

He's not as good as Prescott and i would have prefered guys like Mossop and Davis to be playing ahead of him anyway

Let's get one thing straight here - I did mention it but like 99.9% of Wigan fans most certainly DID NOT take joy in it at the time as you seem to think. I remember it because it was such a bizarre injury, Morley ran into the tackle with his usual gusto and everyone thought he would flatten on of our players and we were more than a bit surprised when he came off well and truly second best. Don't suggest I was laughing at what happened to Morley cos that is just not the case.

Ben had another good game today, and was on the pitch for a long time, too, with all the injuries up front.

What is Davies?? 21, 22?? I know that is young for a prop but would like to see him get more game time this year. Beacuse isn't Hock back in June & then Fielden will be back not so long after.

He's 21, I think - this is his first season as an over-age player for the reserves.

If we consider Coley, Lima, Prescott, Mossop as our 4 first choice props available, then I'd say Ben was next in line, should any of them be out. I'd like to see Tuson in as well, at some point, but I think he's much more suited to the back row.
