Thats not strictly true. The alcohol laws are set by the organising body (RFL) in agreement with the police. |

In Old Trafford's boxes you are only allowed to drink for a certain period. They actually empty the fridge before the game and restock it after for football. Not sure about RL matches though.

That's right. It's only been in the last year or two you couldn't take it to your seat following the bit of trouble in 2007
The stewards last year were on very high alert, getting in the way of the match every couple of minutes trying to get to people that had snuck a drink back to their seat |
